GREY - The Balance of Light & Darkness

What if our thoughts were Blacks & Whites?
A simple world, no wrongs nor fights.
White means Good Thoughts, shining bright,
While Black brings shadows, dimming light.
So, what are yours? What do you see?
Are you mostly White, or Black set free?
The answer is neither, let truth convey,
We are not extremes—we all are GREY.
Everyone holds their share inside,
Of Blacks that haunt and Whites that guide.
We walk this path, no perfect way,
For we are all but shades of GREY.
Yet, GREY is not a thing to fear,
It shapes our growth through doubt and cheer.
For light alone might blind the view,
And darkness hides what could be true.
The balance lies in what we feed,
Our thoughts, our choices, every deed.
To keep the Blacks at bay, at bay,
And let the Whites light up our way.
A world that’s only pure or grim,
Would lose the song, the dance, the hymn.
For kindness means more when trials arise,
And hope shines brighter in cloudy skies.
So cherish the GREY—it makes us whole,
A dance of heart, of mind, of soul.
To learn, to fall, to rise again,
To heal, to love, to still remain Humane.
We are not just White or Black each day,
We are human, ever-changing GREY.
